Apple Pie for Two

 

1 pie shell

2 apples

1 Tablespoon brown sugar

2 teaspoons cinnamon

Dash of nutmeg

 

Center unbaked pie shell in pie dish.  Cut around the edges.  Save left-over pie shell.  Peel and slice apples into pie shell.  Add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Cut leftover pie shell into strips for lattice top.  Place on cookie sheet and into cold oven.   Bake for 40 minutes at 425 degrees, checking occasionally.  Pie is done when top is lightly browned.  Cool on rack.  Sprinkle with sugar.  Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.  Enjoy!
